Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a search box is sent to the third-party company that provides the tool. That company processes the name, case number, or other terms and returns its results. Jackson County Court Docket does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is kept within the operating team unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Ordinary server and analytics systems can receive technical facts when a page loads:
- Device IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent
- Referring site, when supplied
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic, understand page use, and support site functions. Analytics services can combine visit data into general performance reports. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some behavior may then change.
What We Do With This Data
Information is used for limited operational purposes:
- Operating, securing, and improving page performance
- Routing a voluntary search to the selected partner
- Understanding which Jackson County topics are useful
- Diagnosing faults and misuse
- Supporting advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
This website does not host, sell, or maintain a database of Jackson County case dockets or personal court records. It publishes directions to the Colorado Judicial Branch Docket Search, Jackson County Combined Court, the Town of Walden Municipal Court Clerk, and other record custodians. Official access to Colorado case files is governed by sources such as Chief Justice Directive 05-01; administrative Judicial Branch requests use the separate P.A.I.R.R. framework. Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the sponsored search tools. A partner's policy, retention choices, sharing rules, pricing, and terms govern information submitted to that partner. Review those terms before entering a query because this policy cannot control another company's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Colorado courts, the Combined Court clerk, Walden town resources, federal dockets, archives, legal information, or commercial services. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's policy applies. Advertising providers may also use their own technology to measure activity across websites.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information can be available to:
- Search providers that process a query submitted to their tool
- Analytics vendors that measure traffic and performance
- Advertising networks that deliver ads
- Public authorities when a valid legal demand requires disclosure
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information under this site's control. No internet service can promise complete security or uninterrupted protection, so a breach or failure cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
This website is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under eighteen. Information identified as having been submitted by a minor can be removed when the operator becomes aware of it.
Your Data Rights
Rights depend on the law that applies to the visitor and the information. A person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal information held by this site
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete information where the law permits
- Opt out of a processing activity where a legal right applies
These visitor-data rights are separate from access to a Jackson County court record. Requests to inspect, redact, seal, or correct a case file must go to the court or clerk under Colorado court rules and any controlling order.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as the website, its providers, or applicable requirements change. A new version becomes available on this page with its effective date.
